Zoom whitening is not intended to replace any dental visit but rather a cosmetic procedure to help you feel confident about your smile. It is recommended that you still complete a standard exam at your dental office before making your Zoom appointment, though it is not necessarily required. A Dentist will ensure that your mouth is in good health and this can increase the effectiveness of your Zoom treatment while decreasing the likelihood of possible sensitivity from this procedure. Once this step is complete, you can come in and have your teeth professionally cleaned and polished prior to your teeth whitening procedure. This will rid your teeth of any plaque or stain to ensure you see optimal results.

• If you have active cavities in your mouth.
• If you have active moderate-severe periodontal disease.
• If you are pregnant.
• If your current medical health is unstable.
• It is also important to remember that Zoom Whitening  will not lighten artificial teeth, caps, crowns, veneers or porcelain, composite or other restorative materials. These materials, however, can be replaced if recommended by a Dentist to match your new, whiter smile.
